New Hobby Alert! Collecting Pokemon TCG

I have always wanted to get into collecting, but I never knew what. I didn't have any self control to keep things pristine. I tried collecting all sorts of things when I was younger, but I couldn’t find myself committing to any of them. It was either, I get bored of the hobby or I feel bad that I my collection was only gathering dust somewhere. But now that I am older and I am making my own money, I wanted to give collecting another shot. I wanted to collect something I loved, something that can last and something that can gain value over time.  Luckily, Pokemon trading cards ticked all the boxes! I grew up with the Pokemon (toys, games, shows). I love trading cards and the art/illustration of the cards. With how much first edition cards are going for, it is guaranteed to gain value over time. A Game Worth Giving a 2nd Chance: Marvel Snap Review

Marvel Snap, a digital collectible card game with the Marvel Intellectual Property (IP). I played it during launched and was not impressed by its gameplay. It initially felt like a digital clone of Smash Up, a popular tabletop deckbuilding game. The gameplay loop is: you mix and match cards to make synergy and take control of locations for points. My early impression of it was clearly negative, because I felt like they used the Marvel IP as a way to suck money out of its fanbase. With its lackluster gameplay and somewhat repetitive gameplay back then, I immediately uninstalled the game. Now, more than a year later, I decided to pick it up again and wow, I was so wrong with my first impression!
